The sea of life # √
The wind picked up and flew upon the sail
Soul brightened as the east began to pale
The sound of billows leapt across the sky
We tacked the ship to give to life a try
The wind broke free, the tempest roared and flailed
That roaring sound of heart that nearly failed
The waves that crashed so high as passions mount
Across the deck, it flings like wondrous fount
So smoothly moved along the wave's sharp crest
That, now, the sea has lastly come to rest
And, now, the languor soothes the savage sea
Horizons lost, no longer waves to be
As lost in time, there is no land in sight
And, yet, the sun, the breeze, feel, oh, so right
It's time, again, to run along the rail
Aweigh the anchor, raise so high the sail
For lands unknown lie far unto the fore
Let's ride the winds, again, to farthest shore
