The Traveler's tale √
Towards the mountains' rugged peaks, I passed through ache and toil
At the very peak of mount, I felt a mystic foil
No intent to let me pass, repelled, my will to roam
But, then, a pause, a sudden feel, a friend whose welcomed home
I wandered, then, throughout this land, this land I'll never leave
The path one takes, extend your hand, and never disbelieve
The way was set so long ago, the only need, depart
There is a kernel all good tales deliver to the heart
The steps to take to gain the land on heart and soul are marked
They're scored upon the ways of life, let go and you've embarked
The path is such we all can feel, so deep within's the spark
Conscious thought distorts the path, the rhythm of the hark
This tale is told of brighter things than those of daily dread
The passion of the soul is as the leaven for the bread
