Smoking embers √
Smoking embers flair to flame
While mind disintegrates the same
Explosions rock the very core
Just shattered remnants from before
Are cast, once more, upon the table
Along with what is left of fable
The storied eyes that see the heart
And slowly watch it break apart
The smallest piece, so fresh and clean
The likes of which are seldom seen
So slow to reach, unsteady hand
To place them slowly back, again
The slowest sigh from deepest core
That straightens back for life, once more
