The Road
I traveled on a road unknown
Untrammeled by the feet of stone
The broken wit, the gait of past
That limits stride on road so vast
Are not the road on which I tread
No longer caught, no longer bled
Steps of confidence, my gait
Traipsing on to acclimate
To open fields of love and sanity
Amongst the likes of all Humanity
Left behind, the dregs of bygone haze
The dread of beast remaining in a daze
