"Razor's edge too"

Razor's edge too

I stand upon the razor's edge

With nothing left as I am bled

Waiting for the beast to fledge

Before it is that I am dead

Toxicity continues sedge

The stupoured state in charge

Have I attained the slightest wedge

Is it growing large

On each side, the stupoured state

With difference in degree and rate

Neither side will recognize

Love's withered state, a paltry prize

On one side, the volume grows

Repeating only, "anything goes"

Except the loving form

Of coitus as the norm

The other side in mindless state

Rebels and fights and takes the bait

Justifying in its wake

All expressions turned in fake

Go ahead and let them wreak

The havoc caused amidst the peak

Of two wrong views of all it takes

Wake up to life, for goodness sakes

The skew between the two

Is really nothing new

Befuddled state for all involved

Until the puzzle is  resolved

I'm worn to the bone

As I chip at the stone

Of the stupour enveloping all

I kick at the cage

In my fury and rage

But the stupour's beginning to pall

The education of the heart still has so far to go
